The CUEE Cauca held its first day of meeting in 2020 with an agenda that includes articulation of two research projects of the University of Cauca and the joint work with the Ministry of Competitiveness and Economic Development.

Members of the University Company State Committee CUEE Cauca held a day of meeting, articulation and revitalization, during the activity that took place on February 7 at the Popayán Club two research projects and the work agenda for 2020 were socialized.

One of the socialized projects was "Regional Ecosystem of CTeI: InnovAcción 2.0", presented by professors from the University of Cauca, Adolfo Plazas of the GIMORC Regional Models Competitiveness Research Group and Álvaro Rendón of the Telematics Research Group. The initiative that was approved during session No. 66 of the OCAD, worth $ 6,951,046,254, seeks to strengthen the regional ecosystem of science, technology and innovation to facilitate the use of knowledge in the social and productive sectors.

The project of the Innovation Center for Sustainable Production CIPS was also socialized, presented by Carlos Augusto Andrade, the GIMORC Research Group and the Tourism Program of the University of Cauca.

On the day, the president of CUEE Cauca, Jorge Torres, invited the members to work together on an action plan to address the dynamics and goals proposed by these two projects, and to participate together with the Secretary of Competitiveness and Economic Development, Francisco Fuentes in the preparation and projection of the Development Plan of the department of Cauca.

The University Company State Committee CUEE Cauca intends to be a mechanism for integration, coordination and articulation, which allows to establish strategic agreements for the operability of CTeI activities in Cauca.
