International speakers will lecture on anthropological issues at the University of Cauca

Under the slogan ' practices, scope and challenges ' Anthropologies symposium will be held in Latin America , 28 to 30 May.

The event, organized by the Department of Anthropology and International Studies Network Planning and Culture, gather in the Auditorium Francisco Lemos Arboleda experts from Mexico , Chile, Peru , Ecuador , Brazil, Costa Rica , Cuba , Spain and Colombia .

During the Symposium topics as Latin American political anthropology, intercultural disciplines anthropologies in Colombia , Latin America and globalization in anthropology challenges for Latin America will be discussed.

The academic conference will have, among others , the presence of the following speakers:

- Hortensia Caballero Arias from the Venezuelan Anthropology Center and  Institute for Scientific Research.

- Esteban Krotz Unit Regional Center for Social Science Research at the Autonomous University of Yucatán.

- Tatiana Paz , Universidad del Valle de Guatemala .

- Alejandro Diez Hurtado of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru .
