New bibliographic tools could enrich academic work in Unicauca

The Cauca InnovAcción project and the Division of Media Management and Bibliographic Resources Alma Mater analyze the feasibility of the proposal.

According to Gabriel De La Torre Solarte, coordinator of InnovAcción Cauca, they are seeking to implement a training network to support the activities of the research groups as a strategy for the articulation between universities and the productive sectors with innovative curricular and pedagogical proposals.

"The company Ebook Academic Subscription Collection, Ebsco International, offers a five-year subscription to the databases Ebook Academic Subscription Collection and Super Databases, Super Database, with bibliographic information for the benefit of the entire academic community in the region" he said.

The Ebook Academic Subscription Collection contains over 130,000 titles available on subscription with unlimited concurrent user access from any location and the collection is growing with no additional cost to cover all academic areas and access to full-text electronic books.

"This is a fundamental strategy that strengthens the alliance University, Business and State aimed at promoting the development of human talent to drive social innovation and productive," he said.

InnovAcción Cauca is a project led by the University of Cauca through the Research Group Models Regional Competitiveness with resources of the General System of Royalties to promote a strategy that guarantees linkage with the social and productive sectors.
