The Pedagogical Unit of the University of Cauca advances actions to continue strengthening the degrees

Through a meeting between the coordinating team of the Pedagogical Unit and the coordinators and members of the Program Committees of the nine degrees of the University of Cauca, actions are carried out to identify and strengthen the different needs of the degrees.

The Pedagogical Unit is a project of the University of Cauca, which is part of the strategic axis "Education that generates potentialities and opportunities" of the Institutional Development Plan 2023 - 2027. In this sense, in the month of March, the a joint meeting between the coordinating team of the Pedagogical Unit, together with the coordinators or members of the Program Committees, of the nine degrees of the University.

The meeting allowed collective reflection on the knowledge and previous experiences that have been had with the unit in previous years. Likewise, it made it possible to explore in a preliminary way the articulation between the different degree programs to find common horizons and training needs, in order to continue giving dynamic to the work that has been carried out during the year 2023.

By the way, the teacher Alejandro Leal Castro, from the Department of Education and Pedagogy, assures that "Our objective is to identify the training needs of undergraduate degrees with the aim of organizing, at the end of the year, an event through which we seek to expand knowledge in terms of education, pedagogy and teacher training”.

In this sense, the different coordinators and members of the Pedagogical Unit are committed to complying with the strategic axis "Education that generates potential and opportunities" of the Institutional Development Plan 2023 - 2027, framed in our institutional purpose of being a University of Excellence and Solidarity.
