Students with the best scores currently admitted in Santander de Quilichao received university symbols.

As a central part of the ceremony welcoming new students of the Alma Mater who will study at the Santander de Quilichao campus, the university delivered the Flag and Coat of Arms of the University of Cauca to students with the best Scores obtained when presenting the admission test.
 

The flag was given to Diana Carolina David Benítez, who entered the Civil Engineering program. It comes from the municipality of Florence (Cauca) and graduated from the Toribio Paz Moncayo School, from that town of Southeastern.
 

"I had planned it for a long time, I researched a lot about the race, I liked it a lot and because of proximity and quality I decided to go to the University of Cauca. It is a pride to have received this symbol and it is gratifying to know that the effort and dedication that I put to arrive here is reflected in this," affirmed the future engineer.


The shield was given to students Cristian Alejandro Cuellar Ruiz and Andres Fayad.

Cuellar Ruiz, born in Caloto and graduated from the Educational Institution Núcleo Escolar Rural - Caloto, began his studies in the Degree in Modern Languages ​​(English-French).
 

"I chose this course because I think it is very important to learn other languages ​​and it is a privilege to teach them. I chose Unicauca because it is very close to me and because it is one of the most prestigious universities. Receiving the shield fills me with pride and motivates me to continue my studies, "he said.
 

For his part, Andres Fayad, admitted to the law program (Nocturno), and graduated from the Luis Carlos Galán School in the city of Cali, where he is from, stated that he chose the University of Cauca because of the proximity and the academic level that Has historically reflected in the region.
 

"We must take advantage of the fact that the University is here, that is the knowledge, that there is the teaching quality and the administrative quality to be able to continue and advance in our projects," he concluded.
