Tulcán: University Sports Center resumes activities

Fulfilling the established biosafety protocols, the Tulcán University Sports Center resumes its activities in some of its facilities.

 

As of Monday, March 1 and complying with the respective protocols established by the University of Cauca, the Tulcán University Sports Center opens its doors again from 7:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon.

 

 

The venues available courts are a soccer and basketball, a soccer hall, a covered university coliseum, a table tennis room, a chess room and swimming pools. The loan service will be requested through the email: recredeportes@unicauca.edu.co, the applicant must do it through institutional mail; requests that arrive through non-institutional mail will not be attended, in the mail you must inform what scenario to be separated, time zone and date.

 

It is important to remember that the effectiveness of the recommendations established by the University of Cauca largely depends on the attitude and aptitude of the workers and students, the responsibility is shared. It is the duty of each university student to comply with all the recommendations.

 

The document also establishes that students and workers who have pre-existing diseases, including: diabetes, high blood pressure, lung disease, heart disease, kidney disease and others that affect the immune status (transplants, cancer), please refrain to use the services of the Tulcán University Sports Center.

 

Similarly, the sports practice time of 60 minutes maximum per person in a day, workers or students are not endorsed to develop a daily practice greater than the established 60 minutes, according to the guidelines and recommendations of the Ministry of Sports .

 

They must present themselves 15 minutes in advance at the main door of the University Sports Center, keep the physical distance of 2 meters and it is mandatory to carry out and comply with the established entry protocol exactly.

 

It should be noted that for the month of January, the second stage of the infrastructure works that are being carried out in the Tulcán University Sports Center began, a project that has an approximate value of 7.7 billion pesos

 

This infrastructure work, which has the support of the Government of Cauca through resources from the General System of Royalties, includes in its second stage the construction of the athletic track, covering the stands, installation of lights, vehicular access and pedestrian paths.
