PermaneSer is a program of the Vice-Rectory of Culture and Welfare of the University of Cauca, guided by an interdisciplinary group that was created with the aim of improving the permanence and graduation rates of students through comprehensive support processes that guarantee continuity and Successful completion of your studies.

With the aim of preventing repetition and strengthening the permanence and future graduation of the students of the University of Cauca, the Vice-Rectory of Culture and Welfare opens its PermanentSer and Graduation Program in Santander de Quilichao. To this end, a group of professionals have been hired to work at the North Headquarters full time in the attention and advice of students.

This way, on March 2, the PermanentSer team started the introduction module to university life in Santander de Quilichao, which will run until March 31 and is aimed at students enrolled in the first period of 2020. “We aim to strengthen knowledge in Mathematics, reading-writing, psychosocial skills, physical activity, training, introduction to Law and English - French languages, according to the academic program in which the 124 students who are enrolled are enrolled being part of this module, ”said Laura Elena Ledesma Ríos, Coordinator of the PermaneSer program

To ensure their permanence and graduation, it is important to mention that students can request individual or group counseling during the two 2020 periods in the areas of Mathematics and related, Physics, reading-writing, Biology and Chemistry (virtual), psychosocial support, and support in the socioeconomic field.
