Two research proposals were selected within the framework of the Colciencias call that seeks to promote the exploitation, commercialization and transfer of protected inventions or in the process of patent protection.

The University of Cauca with two projects developed by the CYTBIA Agro-industrial Interest Biomolecules Science and Technology Research Group was selected from amongst the proposals of the Colciencias call “get Juice out from to your Patent”. From invention to innovation.

The selected technologies will initiate a process of theoretical / practical training and advice through which the management of intellectual property will be supported through the enlistment of technologies and commercial management.

From the Division of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Articulation with the Environment of the Office of the Vice President for Research, this call was promoted and support was provided to the participating research groups. Additionally, it provides advice and support in entrepreneurship, intellectual property and technology transfer to the university community.
