UNICAUCA students will represent the southwestern region in the National Meeting of Oral Narration

This representation was achieved in the context of the IV Regional University Meeting of Oral Storytellers (ASCUN) Culture, held at the San Buenaventura University, Cali.

 

 

Two University of Cauca students were selected to represent the southwestern region of Colombia at the National Oral Narrative University Conference, to be held in Santa Marta, capital of Magdalena, in the second half of 2017.

 

This representation was achieved within the framework of the IV Regional University Meeting of Oral History Ascún Culture, held at the University of San Buenaventura in Cali, between May 4th and 6th, 2017.

 

The selected students were Edier Montenegro, second semester Social Communication program, and Jessica Alexandra Valencia, fourth semester Modern Languages (English - French), who together with representatives from the San Buenaventura and ICESI de Cali universities, and the Mariana University, Pasto, will represent the southwestern region of Colombia in said contest.

 

The winning students are part of the Group of Oral Narration of the University of Cauca, formed in the current semester, under the direction of Oral Narrator Gustavo Flórez, Coordinator of the La Ermita Cuenta y la Bonata Group.
