The National Spectrum Agency NSA, The New Technologies in Telecommunications Group, GNTT and the Alma Mater are the organizers of the conference.

Pablo Emilio Jojoa, GNTT coordinator, said that the event is presented as part of the National Day of the spectrum and it is the first and largest training initiative on the spectrum, antennas and Health, held in Colombia . "This is an activity that seeks to raise awareness of issues related to the management and use of the spectrum and explain to al the citizens the work done by the NSA to ensure an efficient and legal use of it", he added.

The event is part of the initiative of the Agency which works with universities in order to create opportunities to provide training to students, faculty and staff in this field and promote a research environment.

The training, which will have its epicenter in the FIET Auditorium, will be happening simultaneously in fourteen other centers in universities and institutions of the country in different cities.
