Unicauca will make this May 30 Admission Test

La Universidad -

 In total, 8947 candidates will be take the entrance exam, of which 402 will be in Santander de Quilichao. Applicants must be registered one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes before the start of the test at the locations where they were cited.

 

Those registered to access the undergraduate programs of the Alma Mater, must submit their citation (available for download as of May 15, 2017) upon admission to the Admission Test that will take place on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the morning.

 

Applicants must arrive by 7:30AM at the headquarters to which they were summoned, either in Popayán or Santander de Quilichao.

 

Entrance to the buildings will cease at 9.00AM, time at which admission exam will begin, with a (3) hours duration. The institution will not allow entry to those who do not have a citation.

 

"In Popayán, in some rooms of the Faculty of Education and in an Accounting room, people with visual, hearing and mobility disabilities will be serviced, and for them the Admissions Committee authorized an extended amount of time totalling four hours," said Dokía Marisol Zúñiga Mosquera, head of the Division of Admissions, Registration and Academic Control.

 

As in previous tests, the Emergency Brigade of the University of Cauca will be available, Popayan Metropolitan Police staff, and relief agencies such as the Colombian Red Cross, Cauca Section.

 

The faculties in which the test will be presented are: Human and Social Sciences; Law and Political and Social Sciences; Health Sciences; Exact Natural Sciences and Education; Civil Engineering; Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications; And Accounting and Economics.

 

Likewise, the test will be carried out at the Industrial Technical Institute and at the Alejandro de Humboldt Educational Institution.

 

In Santander de Quilichao, the test will be held at the Carvajal Campus.

 

Recommendations for those who will present the Admission Test

 

1. At the beginning of the test an original ID must  be presented.

 

For Nationals:

Citizenship ID card

Identity card, blue biometric or pink format

Passport

Password for filing with photo and fingerprint

Proof of document in process, green color, with bar code, photo and fingerprint

 

-For foreigners:

Passport or Colombian Resident ID

 

Also printed copy of the admissions exam citation.

 

Note: Under no circumstances will documents other than those listed above be accepted, as it will be the responsibility of each applicant, to preserve, and carry at all times their id before, during and after the test.

 

Persons who do not prove their identity with the appropriate document to do so, will not be able to enter the University of Cauca facilities and consequently can not take the Admission Test.

 

2. The persons who will take the admissions entrance exam must have the following elements:

 

A. Black Mint Pen No. 2.

B. Draft.

C. Sharpener.

General information on access to facilities

 

The Administrative Vice-Chancery of the University of Cauca, is allowed to inform the University Community and the general public; That the headquarters of the Faculties of Engineering, Law, Accounting Sciences, Education, Humanities and Health Sciences, will close their doors to every academic, investigative and general staff, starting at 3:00PM on Saturday 27th from May until 3:00PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, when the academic year of admission will be completed.

 

The other University units not related in this communication will work with normality to the public and university students who require their services; there is no entrance restriction to the Communications Management Center, Division of Bibliographic Resources Management and Tics staff, located in the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Exact and Education buildings.

 

The Administrative staff of the test sites must come in to work on the dates indicated, and will be under management by the Dean of each Faculty.
