Unicauca will present its experience with regionalization in a national event.

During the Second National Seminar of University Regionalization: Dialogues, University Region, the Alma Mater showcase its academic presence in northern Cauca.

José Manuel Tobar Mesa, director of the Center for regionalization, will conduct a presentation on the experience of the institution on regionalized programs during the event to be held on November 12 and 13 at the University of Antioquia.

Mr. Tobar explained that the paper made along with Juan Carlos Varona, Academic Center coordinator of Regionalization, presents the results of a strategy designed to interact with the regions.

"The regionalization leading by the University of Cauca replicates his missionary experiences and allows linkages with educational institutions that are present in the Department according to the requirements of society and in the field of higher education," he said.

In this way, the communities are empowered and take their destiny with human talent as a vehicle for local, regional and national development.

The institutional presence in different areas of Cauca becomes a development focus of relevant research involving the community in a social interaction for feedback to the institution with the dynamics of the society around it.

The Seminar is a place that allows the exchange, reflection and sharing of experiences of college nationwide regionalization in order to provide guidelines and strategies for consolidation in the country.
