University community members will be able to publish book with results of research processes. 

The Vice Rectory of Culture and Welfare and the Research Vice Rectory opened a call.

In order to acknowledge and encourage high quality science and academic publications, The Vice Rectory of Culture and Welfare and the Vice Rectory of Research opened a call for the publication of the books containing the results of the research process. 

Friday, June 14 is the deadline to submit projects that meet the requirements defined by the call coordinators whiting the framework of a editorial policy that allow editing, publishing and disseminating of books benefiting of the society and the institution.  

It has to be mentioned that among all the proposals positively evaluated by the peers.  Afterward, they will publish at least ten (10) printing books.  At least one of the books shall belong to the following knowledge areas:

• Natural Science
• Engineering and Technology
• Medicine
• Agriculture Science
• Social and Humanity Science

The University of Cauca’s Publishing House will distribute the work selected for commercial and academic purpose and the work will be published on the Website of the Vice Rectory of Culture and Welfare and will be available for the general public.

 

Timeline:

• Closing date of the call: Friday June 14, 2013
• Verification of requirements: through Sunday June 2, 2013
• Work evaluation: through August June 30, 2013
• Result publication: Monday September 9, 2013
