More spaces for art, recreation, and university well-being! This is how we strengthen the spaces of one of Unicauca’s most iconic Faculties

Thanks to the firm support of the university leadership, at the Faculty of Natural, Exact and Education Sciences of the University of Cauca, we are committed to creating comprehensive environments that enhance artistic education, sports, and a healthy lifestyle, a challenge undertaken within the strategic framework of our Bicentennial University. In this way, with the exciting construction of two new Expression Classrooms and the revitalization of our sports court, we are taking a giant step forward in promoting the well-being of our entire community.

This is a project that not only envisions new spaces for creativity and sports, but also represents a commitment to the environment and to the health of our community: an investment in the future and in the dreams we have set in motion! With this in mind, at the Faculty of Natural, Exact and Education Sciences, we are moving forward with the construction of two new Expression Classrooms, spaces designed to respond to the growing demand for academic settings that strengthen the artistic education we provide in this Faculty, the one responsible for preparing the teachers of future generations.

Likewise, we highlight the revitalization of the existing sports court, equipping it for recreational practice of indoor soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Our objective is clear: to offer students, professors, and administrative staff suitable, versatile, and accessible spaces that foster both creative capacities and physical well-being.

Regarding this important undertaking, it is essential not to lose sight of the formal procedures required for works of this nature. In this regard, and fully aware of our environmental responsibilities, the construction of the classrooms will take place following the removal of three trees, a procedure that already has the official authorization of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Cauca – CRC (Resolution DTC 949 of 2025), thus ensuring compliance with current environmental regulations.

In addition, to further strengthen healthy lifestyle habits, we will complement our outdoor gym with the acquisition of a crossfit machine.

This initiative reinforces our commitment to the comprehensive well-being of the members of the University of Cauca.

In conclusion, these processes are a clear demonstration of the University of Cauca’s commitment to well-being.

By managing resources and optimizing processes, we ensure education of the highest quality, because we firmly believe that every space, designed with purpose and vision, has the power to transform lives and make the dreams of those who are part of our beloved university come true.

From the Faculty of Natural, Exact and Education Sciences, we continue building environments that inspire, motivate, and support the development of the many expressions of knowledge, art, and sport. On the road to the bicentennial, we evolve!
