Public, high-quality, tuition-free education? It is a reality thanks to the National Government!
Now then, have you heard about or are you familiar with the Tuition-Free Education Policy “Yo puedo estudiar” (I Can Study)? This is a benefit promoted by the National Government, which covers students who meet the requirements established by the Ministry of National Education. It was created as an initiative to support those who dream of entering university, eliminating economic barriers as a factor in student dropout, and allowing them to pursue the program of their choice free of charge. The good news is that the University of Cauca is one of the institutions where this Policy applies, wonderful news indeed! Therefore, we invite you to consult the official information, since the criteria that determine whether someone may or may not be a beneficiary are not within the competence of our institution.
Are the Saber 11 exams the only requirement? For some programs, there is an additional step associated with the applicant selection process.
Pay close attention: if you are interested in studying fine arts or the Bachelor’s Degree in Music, you should know that these programs require aptitude tests. Be sure to check the dates, requirements, and specific guidelines by clicking here: do not miss any details about how the process works.
