Master of Electronics and Telecommunications

The Master of Electronics and Telecommunications is designed as a research program in accordance with Decree 1001 of 2006.  The program focuses on the research in telecommunications, understood as the branch of engineering that studies:

The signal processing.

The information processing.

The Transmission media

The interconnection of devices and technologies.

 

The curriculum of the program is supported by the appropriated allocation of the various activities carried out by students in courses, seminars and research work (finalized with the approval of the Master's Thesis).

This curriculum seeks to provide a solid scientific, technical and technological research training because they are very important aspects in telecommunication. The purpose is to generate a new knowledge and contribute to the development of technical and technological processes that allow improvement and innovation in the telecommunications sector.

In this way the research projects developed under the program will focus on infrastructure, technology and communication processes for telecommunications systems and multi-service networks, thus contributing to the general welfare of society The program is supported by R & D Group in New Technologies in Telecommunications of the University of Cauca, which is currently recognized by Colciencias as Category B.

Schedule: Fridays from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and Saturday 8:00AM to 12:00PM and 2:00PM to 6:00PM

Duration: Four (4) semesters.

Modality: The classes are held in a classroom setting.
