Master of Physics Engineering
The Master of Physics Engineering offers the students a comprehensive training with solid scientific, technological and humanistic basis, and a strong commitment to contributing to the society and the environment. The program seeks to help students acquire the entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills essential for entrepreneurs to contribute with the social and economic development in the region.
The knowledge, readiness to independent learning, research skills (in materials, optics, low temperature processes and instrumentation), and the integrated vision of Science and technology of the engineer will allow him or her to be able to contribute to the effort to address problems in research institutes, R & D laboratories and training of human resources in universities in areas such as:
- Engineering
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Control Systems
- Vacuum Technique and related fields.
The graduate of the Master of Physics Engineering will be able to: develop and publish scientific material as a result of their research; design and implement programs and projects in technologies based on ceramic materials, Optical Engineering, low temperature processes and instrumentation and control.
Using quality control, and the application of Science and Technology principles in instrumentation, the student will evaluate the processes from raw materials to finished product for the purpose of increasing sustainable productivity. Also, he or she will be able to advice companies that require technical and non-destructive characterization of materials and structures.
