Degree in Modern Languages

The Degree Program in Modern Languages (English and French) belongs to the Faculty of natural Sciences, Exact, and Education at the University of Cauca, and was created by Resolution N0 003527 of 1985, issued by the Supreme Council. This Academic Program aims for the training of teachers and researchers in Foreign Languages (English and French), trained to take educational activities in preschool, elementary, and middle vocational education. Also it favors research as pedagogical process and knowledge, providing educational practice that the students perform in different academic institutions during VIII and IX semester of studies and when graduated. In turn, the program includes the study and analysis of language in all its dimensions and possibilities, inquiring about the substance of it, their codes, structural elements, modes of use and performance in areas or situations of interactions.

Schedule: Day classes.

Modality: The classes are held in a classroom setting. 

Duration: Ten (10) semesters.
