Physiotherapy

The Physical Therapy Program is part of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Cauca and was created by Resolution No 050 of September 9, 1997 issued by the Supreme Council.

This academic program focuses on the study of human body movement and the changes that result from it. Develop curricula that act on behalf of the individual and collective capacity of individuals to achieve physical, mental, and social skills that result in the improvement and transformation of the current living conditions of the people.

In addition, the program aims for a research culture and critical and autonomous thinking to motivate students and teachers to the generation of knowledge and community-type programs.

By Resolution 904 of February 28, 2007, issued by the Ministry of Education was awarded the Qualified Register for this Program at the University of Cauca.
