Business Administration Program

 

The Business administration program is part of the School of Accounting, Economics, and Management at the University of Cauca and was created by Resolution No 112 of December 20, 1989, issued by the Honorable Supreme Council. This Academic Program has an emphasis in the area of Business Development and was licensed by Agreement No 030 of March 15, 1991, issued by the Board of the Institute for Promotion of Higher Education.

Professional Profile

Applicant should be characterized by a person willing to lead and work with groups with high needs for achievement, who interacts for purposes and  collective goals, with high doses of initiative and sense of responsibility. The graduate will focus on the organization of production and the distribution of goods and services as basic elements of economic and social development. It must be an entrepreneur with leadership, manager, promoter, consultant, executive, with coordination activities and execution plans, programs and projects of finance, marketing, and business. As a social being, must have extensive sensitivity in human aspects and in turn as an entrepreneur must enable the action to create jobs and wealth without damaging the surrounding environment.

Occupational Profile

You can dabble with strength as an independent management consultant, promoter, organizer, and coordinator of new companies. Having a performance management in areas of Marketing, Finance, or Human Resources which act with competence and leadership.
