SUMMARY OF THE COURSE

The aim of this course is to provide the fundamentals to solve a research problem in human gait analysis using motion capture devices and automatic data processing systems. Thus, on successful completion of this course, students will be able to design motion capture experiments based on different technologies such as those based on optical markers, inertial systems and force platforms, and to implement algorithms for the analysis of human gait measures obtained from motion capture devices.
