Unicauca receives students from France, Germany and Chile.

The University of Cauca looks forward to welcoming international students into our campus community this week. Six foreign students will be attending the some of the undergraduate programs offered by the institution as part of university internationalization.

According to the head of the Office of Inter-institutional and International Relations, Henry Francois Tarlin, four of the students come from the University of Lumiere (France) and were enrolled in the Anthropology Program at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,  another student comes from Chile and will be part of the program of Speech Therapy, Faculty of Health Sciences and the last, but not least student comes from the University of Bayreuth (Germany) to study Economics at the Faculty of Accounting, Economics and Management of our institution.

"It is important to note that through these exchanges enriches not only academic aspects, since allows comparisons of the study and teaching methods, but also cultural field allowing us to reach other parts of the world," added the Mr. Tarlin.

In the same way, the idea of student exchanges includes continuing work on strengthening foreign languages, especially French, since there is the possibility of exchanges with that European country.
