It is our pleasure to welcome you to the University of Cauca, a national public higher education institution, with 186 years of experience and history.

The University was founded in 1927 as one of the first institutions of higher education in the country. Currently, the University has the distinction of High Quality Institutional Accreditation granted by the Ministry of Education.

Our institution provides educational services to students around the world who can be found in any of our 14 locations. Our campuses are quiet and ideal spaces for the students undertake their undergraduate and graduate studies.

With three clearly defined objectives for its Institutional Project: education, research and social outreach, the University of Cauca has become one of national institutions that generates and transmits knowledge.

We have approximately 13,000 students, 1,000 lecturers and professors and 700 administrative and service personnel. Our infrastructure is rich in historical heritage and important works of art. We count with an athletic complex and university welfare services available to the entire university community.
