The International Congress of Administrative Sciences is an academic event organized by the Department of Administration of the University Center for Economic and Administrative Sciences (CUCEA) of the University of Guadalajara, Mexico, aimed at promoting dialogue on innovation, sustainability, and ethical management in contemporary organizations. In its 16th edition, it brought together 45 speakers and panelists from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Ecuador. It was an academic space designed to debate the contemporary challenges of management from a social perspective, inequality, digital transformation, demographic changes, and increasing demands for transparency and accountability, while also fostering discussion on management models that seek efficiency and competitiveness, equity, inclusion, and sustainability, promoting interinstitutional collaboration and the exchange of research and practical experiences.

The presentation by Professor Daniela Terán, invited as an international speaker based on her teaching experience at the Comfacauca University Corporation, revolved around a central question: “Can technology make us more human?” She contrasted two possible scenarios: one in which technology empowers, amplifies what is human, and transforms lives; and another in which it dehumanizes, creates disruptions, and threatens collective Wellness. In this way, through her proposal “HumanTech,” she invites us to rethink digital transformation as a process that integrates empathy, ethics, and purpose, because “More than a tool, technology must become a catalyst of humanity,” the professor stated.

From her role as a speaker at the congress, Professor Terán reinforced the interdisciplinary and ethical perspective that characterizes her academic and professional work, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences that contribute to more ethical, innovative management committed to social Wellness.

Participation in these international settings reinforces the global projection and commitment of our graduate from the University of Cauca, as she promotes a reflection that drives digital transformation with a social purpose, weaving networks that benefit sustainable development.
