At Unicauca, we are research: Office of the Vice-Rectory for Research opens 2024 internal calls

Until September 11, 2024, professors at the University of Cauca may apply to the internal call of the Vice-rector’s Office for Research, which seeks to support innovative projects developed within all faculties of our department’s Alma Mater.

For the University of Cauca, research is a fundamental pillar that not only strengthens the academic and professional development of the Unicaucan community, but also drives the generation of new knowledge across diverse fields.

Through research, professors enrich their classes with updated and relevant content, while simultaneously fostering scientific, technological, and social advancement in the region and the country.

Thus, our commitment to research enables us to transform lives and make the dreams of students, communities, and professionals a reality, upholding high standards of academic quality and positioning the University as a benchmark within the public education sector, both nationally and internationally.

In this regard, our Office of the Vice-Rector for Research seeks to promote the development of various projects that contribute to building a better society by supporting processes related to technological development, innovation, and creative research.

It is important to note that between 3 and 10 initiatives will be funded, depending on the faculty. Therefore, Unicaucano professor, if you are part of a research group and have a project through which you wish to strengthen your research capacities and contribute to social development, we invite you to review the terms of reference at the following link.
