The University of Cauca invites you to participate in the CIDESCO Awards 2025, a recognition that honors female and male professors, students, alumni, administrators, and administrative staff who, through their projects, professional trajectories, and initiatives, transform higher education, generate social impact, and strengthen the bond between the University and its environment. You have until September 30, 2025, to register, so don’t miss this opportunity!

The CIDESCO Awards 2025 are consolidating their role as a space to highlight excellence and innovation, showcasing those who, through their work, contribute to the country’s academic, scientific, and cultural development. The call for applications is now open to submit projects and stories that reflect how, from this house of thought, outstanding initiatives, spaces, and research endeavors are born, transforming lives and making dreams come true.

Thus, the invitation is extended to professors, administrators and academic leaders, students, graduates, as well as administrative staff, true protagonists of change in higher education. The goal is to recognize those individuals who, through their effort, leadership, and commitment, contribute to strengthening the University and society.

In total, there are 12 categories designed to acknowledge talent and dedication, with special emphasis on student leadership, teaching excellence, research with educational impact, and the graduate who inspires.
