From September 10 to 12, 2025, the 19th Colombian Congress of Computing was held at the Nueva Granada Campus in Cajicá, organized by the Colombian Computing Society. This event, considered the most important in the country in the fields of informatics and computing, brought together researchers, professionals, and students around topics such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, human–computer interaction, e-learning, and software engineering.

The University of Cauca was represented by Professors Julio Hurtado, Wilson Libardo Pantoja, and Pablo Magé, members of the IDIS Research Group of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications. The faculty members presented the papers “Archicom: Collaborative Platform that Facilitates Interaction and Experience Exchange in Software Architecture Training,” aimed at strengthening collaborative teaching in software architecture, and “A Measurement Model for Technical and Soft Skills in Software Architecture: A GQM-Based Approach,” which proposes a measurement model for technical competencies and soft skills.

Additionally, they participated in the Master’s and Doctoral Symposium and in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Computing Society, consolidating the University’s institutional presence in strategic settings for the national academic and scientific community.
