The flagship services of the Writing Center promote and strengthen critical reading, oral communication, and academic, scientific, and creative writing, recognizing their importance as sociocultural practices for individuals and communities. For more than 12 years, the Center has actively participated in the comprehensive education of the university community, leading initiatives through collaborative work aimed at personal and academic well-being. It has become a safe space for many and a place where ideas on diverse topics can be exchanged freely, because we love to speak, write, and learn.

We have a team committed to addressing people’s needs and interests, ensuring that all activities are designed to foster meaningful, two-way learning. With every new challenge that arises, we create opportunities to enrich our own knowledge, that of each participant, and of the programs they represent. We are passionate about what we do and strive for reciprocal learning, not only on the specific topics for which individuals seek guidance at the Writing Center, but also life lessons that promote mental health, active listening, empathy, inclusion, and equity, among others.
