University of Cauca students present their academic work at the 24th Colombian Congress of Mathematics 2025

The event, taking place from June 2 to 6 at the Technological University of Pereira, brings together the country’s mathematics community to share advances, ideas, and collaborations within the discipline.

Sixteen students from the Mathematics program at the University of Cauca are presenting their research projects at the 24th Colombian Congress of Mathematics 2025, taking place from June 2 to 6 at the Technological University of Pereira.

The University of Cauca students, whose academic work has been endorsed by Professor Henry Laniado of the Department of Mathematics, are part of the national mathematical community, where advances, ideas, and collaborations are shared through an event featuring conferences, specialized sessions, poster presentations, minicourses, and more.

In this way, the students are presenting their research at the most important event on this field in Colombia. They are:

The event, organized every two years by the Colombian Mathematical Society across the country, addresses, in this new edition, diverse topics and a plurality of approaches related to differential equations, probability, geometry, analysis, history, and mathematics education.
