First International Colloquium on Environmental Sciences: Transitions Toward Sustainability

The Doctoral Program in Environmental Sciences is honored to invite you to participate in the First International Colloquium on Environmental Sciences: Transitions Toward Sustainability, an event whose purpose is to promote the exchange of knowledge among academics, students, and professionals interested in transitions toward sustainability. This event, organized by the University of Cauca and supported by the University of Valle and the Technological University of Pereira, aims to discuss the challenges and opportunities of environmental sciences in the current global context, exploring innovative and sustainable solutions.

At this event, we will have the international participation of Noeli Pertile, Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at the Federal University of Bahia, Institute of Geosciences, Brazil, and Jaime Miguel Amezaga Menendez, Professor at Newcastle University, England, United Kingdom.

The colloquium will take place from November 5 to 7, 2025, at the facilities of the University of Cauca (Main Lecture Hall of the Mathematics Building – FACNED).
