You’re still in time to be part of the Arts for Peace program

The University of Cauca and the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge open the call for applications for the Arts for Peace Program – Region 2, aimed at artist-educators and knowledge keepers interested in contributing their talent to social transformation, coexistence, and peacebuilding in the territories of southwestern Colombia.

The University of Cauca, in coordination with the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge, invites teaching artists and traditional knowledge holders to submit their résumés and join the Artes para la Paz – Region 2 Program, an initiative that promotes social transformation, coexistence, and peacebuilding through art. If you are a teaching artist or a traditional knowledge holder and wish to contribute your creative experience to strengthening cultural and educational processes in the territories, this call is for you. The program seeks talents who develop processes in the areas of Music, Dance, Theater, Audiovisuals, and Creative Writing, who may apply to be part of this national strategy that promotes art as a tool for dialogue, inclusion, and social transformation. Vacancies are available in the departments of Cauca, Huila, and Nariño, and can be consulted here. Interested individuals may apply by completing the application form. Art is a path toward peace, encounter, and the transformation of realities. This is an opportunity to place creative talent at the service of communities and to become an active part of change in southern Colombia.
