Gou Pagos

At the University of Cauca, we continue to evolve to provide you with an even better experience. With our modern GOU Pagos payment gateway, we offer maximum security for every transaction. Best of all, your payments will be reflected instantly in our institutional systems. Isn’t that great?

So, read on carefully, because here are the benefits:

Wide range of payment options: Integration with the GOU Pagos payment gateway provides an additional way to pay tuition and other services. Undergraduate and postgraduate students, both domestic and international, can now use their Visa and MasterCard credit cards, eliminating the need to make international bank transfers from abroad.
Security in every transaction: GOU provides 3D Secure (3DS) authentication, ensuring cardholder verification for every transaction and protecting students against credit card fraud.
Real-time updates: Payments made by students are reflected instantly in the University's billing system, streamlining subsequent processes such as downloading certificates, obtaining certificates of good standing, completing academic registration, and more.

But that's not all. More broadly, the benefits for our University include the following:

Increased guaranteed revenue collection: By offering students a more convenient payment option, we can significantly improve tuition and fee collection. According to banking statistics, an increase of approximately 10% is expected, as the responsibility for collecting outstanding balances shifts from the University to the credit card issuer.
Optimization of time and resources: The need to process foreign currency transactions for international students is eliminated, allowing them to make payments directly with their credit cards.
Instantly updated information: The payment gateway is integrated directly with the University's ERP system, ensuring that financial information is always up to date and readily available for consultation.

Simplified account reconciliation: We have an administrative dashboard that generates files to facilitate the reconciliation of the accounting system with bank records.
Projection of a forward-looking image: We remain at the forefront of information and communication technologies (ICT), continuously adapting to market demands and offering innovative solutions.

And here are two bonus benefits we’re excited to share: undergraduate and postgraduate students can now make payments in just minutes from anywhere in the world using different payment methods, including PSE and the new Visa and MasterCard credit card payment channel.

With GOU Pagos, you can complete up to three simultaneous transactions from your mobile phone and receive a single receipt.
