The Chilean Congress of Forest Sciences brought together experts from various countries, providing a space for academic exchange. “This experience was very enriching, since in addition to sharing our work, it allowed us to learn about other research with very interesting topics similar to those we are studying, which enables us to broaden our perspective on the different lines of research in forest sciences,” stated student Danitza Riascos Gómez about this valuable experience, which also allowed Unicauca students to build connections with other students and professors in the forestry field, strengthening their professional training and their understanding of diverse ecosystems.

This type of initiative not only fosters the development of sustainable environmental solutions, but also consolidates the collaborative network among Latin American researchers in an area of vital importance for the future of the planet.
