Convocatoria para la adjudicación de cupos en Residencias Universitarias Estudiantiles

Get ready to claim your place.

The Vice-Rectory of Culture and Well-Being announces that, in the coming weeks, the call for applications for the allocation of spots in the Student University Residences will be opened.

This call is aimed at students whose place of residence is outside the municipality of Popayán.

Below, we share the requirements that applicants must meet at the time of submission.

For more information, visit the Division of Comprehensive Health Management and Human Development, located in the basement of the Engineering Building, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Requirements for Registration:

  1. Application form: Properly completed.                                           
  2.  Identification document: Legible copy of the student applicant’s identification document.                    
  3. Certificate of residency: Original document detailing the socioeconomic stratum, issued by the competent authority, no more than 30 days old. It must include the address of the place of residence and of the family group in the municipality of origin.                                     
  4. Public utility bills: Copies of the last three electricity payment receipts from the residence of origin. If there is no electricity service, a certification issued by the corresponding territorial authority must be submitted.                  
  5. Birth certificate: Copy of the applicant’s birth certificate.                     
  6. Guardian’s employment certificate: Issued within the last 30 days, detailing the employer’s name and identification, type of contract, salary, and payment frequency. For contractors, attach the contract; for self-employed workers, include a recent sworn statement.                                                 
  7. Grades certificate: For first-semester students, a certificate showing the average grades from the last school year.                                               
  8. Tuition receipt: Copy of the fully paid financial enrollment receipt.                       
  9. Recent photographs: Two photographs, size 3 x 4 cm, with adequate lighting, showing the full face and upper shoulders, without accessories that obstruct visibility.              
  10. Sworn declaration: Stating that the applicant does not hold a professional, technological, or technical degree, and has not lost the right to housing due to sanctions.                                                         
  11. Medical certificate: In case of a disability, issued by the corresponding EPS.
