From the Office of Human Talent, the Integrated Labor Welfare Management System SIGLA 2.0 continues to consolidate itself as a comprehensive strategy aimed at the well-being, participation, and development of the Human Talent of the University of Cauca. Throughout this year, the actions implemented within the framework of SIGLA have made it possible to strengthen the organizational culture, promote collaborative work, and create meaningful spaces for gathering among staff members.

In accordance with the current Institutional Development Plan: For a University of Excellence and Solidarity, whose first strategic axis recognizes our people as the most valuable asset of the University, the SIGLA Challenge was held, one of the most representative activities of the program. The event took place at the iconic Tulcán University Sports Center and brought together more than one hundred staff members from different units of the institution, who experienced a day focused on strengthening integration, recreation, and the recognition of collective effort.

The event included recreational and sports dynamics, collaborative games, friendly competitions, artistic performances, and dance spaces, all designed to reinforce values such as cooperation, respect, communication, and solidarity. Beyond recreation, the SIGLA Challenge consolidated itself as a formative and experiential experience, reaffirming the institutional commitment to the emotional and social well-being of its collaborators.

Likewise, as part of the actions carried out within SIGLA, recreational walks, training sessions, workshops, tango performances, and gatherings have been organized, allowing the members of the University of Cauca community to strengthen their well-being. In this way, the overall assessment of the SIGLA program during 2025 shows positive results related to increased participation of staff members in well-being and human development activities, as well as the strengthening of institutional belonging reflected in the enthusiasm and commitment of work teams, the consolidation of spaces for dialogue and recognition that promote an organizational culture based on respect and collaboration, and the promotion of healthy habits and work-life balance through support strategies and integration activities.

Thus, the University of Cauca, through its Division of Human Talent Management, deeply appreciates the participation and commitment of the staff members who take part in these initiatives. Their enthusiasm and willingness are the foundation for continuing to build a more humane, supportive, and cohesive University. With these results, the SIGLA program reaffirms its purpose of continuing to promote actions that strengthen the institution’s most valuable asset, recognizing that human talent is the fundamental axis of the development and sustainability of this house of thought that is #HeritageOfAll.
