The Institutional Administration, particularly the Division of Information and Communication Technologies and the Communications Management Center, is committed to disseminating the document that establishes the Publication Guidelines and Policies for the University’s Web Portal, www.unicauca.edu.co, among users of the services provided through it.

The University’s communication channels, stakeholders, oversight bodies, and the user services office facilitate access to information about the services offered by the University, the means available for accessing information, and the publication through electronic media (Web Portal) of laws, decrees, administrative acts, and documents of public interest (Law 962 of 2005). These communication channels serve as permanent means of informing citizens and interested parties about the University’s plans and activities, enabling them to monitor institutional actions. They also provide the necessary feedback to foster shared understanding, strengthen institutional commitment, and promote continuous improvement, where appropriate. In addition to the communication channels mentioned above, the following are available:

www.unicauca.edu.co is the official electronic communication channel of the University. Its primary purpose is to keep the University Community and external users, locally, nationally, and internationally, informed about the University’s daily activities, 24 hours a day. Through its various administrative and academic units, the portal publishes information on current University affairs, primarily in the news, events, and public interest sections, including admissions, academic registration and first-semester enrollment, calls for applications, competitions, public procurement processes, forms for internal procedures, announcements, and resolutions. The Write to the Rector virtual mailbox serves as a mechanism for members of the University Community to submit suggestions and recommendations.

All of this is presented through hypertext-based information structures that provide users with a comprehensive browsing experience, allowing them to download various files and visit other University websites as well as complementary information resources. Through this portal, the University Community can also access institutional information about all administrative and academic units, as well as the institutional email service. The portal also serves as the main gateway to all official institutional websites and webpages belonging to administrative units, faculties, academic programs, research groups, faculty members, and students.
