The Division of Healthcare and Human Development Management contributes to the development of a university community committed to self-care through the provision of healthcare promotion and prevention services, as well as socioeconomic support services, which strengthen healthy habits and healthy lifestyles from a biopsychosocial approach.

Students at the University of Cauca have access to a range of healthcare services, including specific protection and early detection services, provided through the Division of Healthcare and Human Development Management, a unit attached to the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and Well-being of the institution. The Healthcare and Human Development Management sub-process seeks to contribute to the development of a university student community committed to caring for its own health.
