Updating your information will allow us to maintain ongoing contact with our alumni, for whom there are always benefits and activities offered by the Alumni Area. In addition, this process allows us to conduct follow-up for self-assessment records, the obtaining and renewal of qualified registrations, accreditation, among others. The information provided will be used for institutional purposes, and the processing of personal data is guaranteed in accordance with the provisions of Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data).

Personal Data Processing

The University of Cauca is protected under the regulations established by the Political Constitution of 1991 and therefore wishes to inform you that:

By submitting the information, the data subject accepts the Authorization for the processing of information.

The authorization provided in this form authorizes the University of Cauca to collect, store, use, and delete the personal data provided herein, especially those classified as sensitive data.

In order to fulfill its objective of providing a high-quality educational service, publicizing its academic offerings, and complying with Habeas Data regulations, the University of Cauca requires the processing of the aforementioned data. Both the purpose and the use that the University will give to the information provided will be strictly academic, administrative, and promotional. Under no circumstances will personal data be processed for commercial or distribution purposes. In all cases, legal exceptions shall apply.

Pursuant to Article 8 of Law 1581 of 2013, the data subject whose personal information is collected through this form has the following rights:

Know, update, rectify, and delete the data provided
Know the uses that have been made of the information provided, upon request by the data subject.
Revoke the authorization and/or request the deletion of the data provided when the processing does not respect the constitutional and legal principles, rights, and guarantees in favor of the data subject.
Access, free of charge, their personal data that have been subject to processing.
