The National Bootcamp on Art, Technology, and the Future was consolidated as a key space for strengthening the pedagogical, technological, and creative skills of trainers and teachers from across the country. Over the course of two intensive days, participants explored digital tools and innovative methodologies that they will be able to integrate into the artistic and educational processes they develop in their territories.

In this context, Territorial Managers María Fernanda Jiménez (Node 7), Pablo Eduardo Tobar (Node 1), Jair Aroca (Node 3), and Carlos Efraín Calvache (Node 9) were selected to represent Region 2 of the Arts for Peace program, composed of the departments of Cauca, Huila, and Nariño. Their participation took place on November 27 and 28, 2025, at Universidad América, the host venue of the Bootcamp.

The national meeting brought together the Network of AI Creative Teachers and offered an intensive training agenda aimed at strengthening participants’ pedagogical, technological, and creative capacities. The program included lectures on the use of artificial intelligence in arts education, AI-supported school journalism, as well as a hands-on pathway organized into four specialized laboratories: Educational Creative Robotics and AI (Código & Chispas); introduction to artificial intelligence applied to image and video; fabrication and creative use of MIDI controllers (MIXO); and the creation of school radio and podcasts through the use of artificial intelligence.

These training spaces were designed to enhance the implementation of the pedagogical strategy of the Arts for Peace program, promoting educational innovation, critical co-creation, and dialogue between art, technology, and peacebuilding.

The participation of the Territorial Managers in this Bootcamp represented a key opportunity to expand knowledge, exchange experiences with other regions of the country, and return to their territories with renewed tools to energize artistic, community, and educational processes.

Their presence in this national setting reaffirms Region 2’s commitment to continuous training, technological appropriation, and the strengthening of pedagogical practices that contribute to transforming realities through art and education.
