Internal Tuition Financing for Graduate Programs

These are the requirements for financing your tuition for the University of Cauca’s graduate programs:

Graduate program tuition financing is available to students from the first semester onward.
Be in good standing with the University in all respects.
Present the current tuition payment receipt, a photocopy of the national ID enlarged to 150%, and a photocopy of a public utility bill.
Sign a negotiable instrument (promissory note) by the student and their co-signer at the Credit Office of the Administrative Vice-Rectorate. Pay 50% of the semester tuition as the down payment, and the remaining balance in up to three monthly installments (where applicable), plus financing and late payment interest.
Likewise, both the student and the co-signer must provide a photocopy of an electricity or water bill.
Rates: 0.065% financing and 0.44% late payment.

The following are the requirements for the co-signer:

1. Employee

1. Photocopy of the identity document enlarged to 150%.

2. Pay stubs for the last two (2) months.

3. Original employment certificate or letter from the company where the person works, issued no more than 30 days ago.

4. Photocopy of a public utility bill.

2. Self-Employed

1. Photocopy of the identity document enlarged to 150%.

2. Photocopies of bank statements for the last two (2) months.

3. Certificate of net income issued by a Certified Public Accountant (attach a copy of both sides of the accountant’s professional license), issued no more than 30 days ago.

4. Photocopy of a public utility bill.

3. Retired Person

1. Photocopy of the identity document enlarged to 150%. 2. The two (2) most recent pension payment slips. 3. Photocopy of a public utility bill.

4. Real Property

1. Photocopy of the identity document enlarged to 150%. 2. Updated certificate of title and encumbrances for the real property, issued no more than 30 days ago. 3. In the case of real property, if the student is the owner, they may secure the corresponding obligation without requiring a co-signer. 4. Photocopy of a public utility bill.
