Seminar: workplace harassment, sexual harassment, and gender-based violence: keys to understanding and taking action at the university

Within the framework of institutional strategies aimed at promoting safe, respectful, and inclusive environments, the University will hold the seminar “Workplace Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Gender-Based Violence: Keys to Understanding and Taking Action at the University”, an academic space focused on reflection, prevention, and attention to these issues within the university environment.

The seminar will feature speaker Helga Lidby Díaz Acosta, a lawyer graduated from Libre University and holder of a master’s degree in Disciplinary Law, who will share conceptual and practical tools to identify, understand, and act in situations of harassment and gender-based violence.

During the event, key aspects related to regulatory frameworks, support and response routes, institutional responsibilities, and prevention strategies will be addressed, with the aim of strengthening the culture of respect and coexistence within the university community.

The event will take place on April 29, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, in the Fundadores Hall of the Faculty of Law, Political and Social Sciences.

This activity is part of the Plan de Fomento al Bienestar (PFB) and the Integrated Workplace Wellness Management System SIGLA 2.0, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to the well-being and dignity of all people.
