Course on Subdermal Implant Insertion and Removal with Updates on Contraceptive Eligibility Criteria

Start Date: May 28, 2026.

Location: Synchronous and asynchronous virtual learning through Classroom and the Meet platform. Simulated practice location: Simulation Laboratory, Santander de Quilichao Regional Campus.

Schedule:

Synchronous virtual sessions: Thursdays and Fridays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Simulation practice: Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Asynchronous activities: Independent schedule.

Modality: The course will be delivered through an intensive theoretical-practical format, including 4 hours of synchronous virtual instruction, 2 hours of synchronous in-person instruction, and 2 hours of in-person clinical simulation practice.
Registration and Payment: Until May 20, 2026.
Duration: 40 hours.

Cost:

Nursing and Medical Professionals: $80,000

NOTE: After the registration fee has been paid, refunds will only be granted for justified reasons and upon submission of a formal request using the institutional format at least five business days prior to the start date of the academic offering.
