This Unit is responsible for processing payroll for personnel employed by the University, including salaries, employee benefits, and pension payments. It also manages the modification and updating of the personnel database to reflect new appointments and the departure of faculty and administrative staff, as well as payroll adjustments related to overtime, night shift premiums, Sunday and holiday pay, compensation, and deductions for contributions, affiliations, payroll loans, tuition payments, and other authorized withholdings.

In addition, the Unit is responsible for preparing the corresponding calculations for payroll-related employer contributions, including social security contributions, severance benefits, and parafiscal contributions for the University’s faculty, administrative staff, and pensioners.
