Human Resource Strategic Plan

The University of Cauca’s Human Resource Strategic Plan comprises the following integrated components: the Annual Vacancies Plan, the Human Resource Planning Plan, the Institutional Training Plan, the Institutional Well-being and Incentives Plan, and the Annual Occupational Health and Safety Work Plan. It applies to public servants with permanent or temporary employment relationships, including public employees appointed under the administrative career system. The Plan seeks to strengthen the competencies, knowledge, and quality of life of the University’s public servants through compliance with applicable regulations, adherence to institutional policies, and the implementation of the Human Resource Management dimension’s policies, strategies, and mechanisms within MIPG, serving as a central component of the Strategic Plan for the 2023–2024 period.

Integrated Workplace Well-being Management System (SIGLA)

“To consolidate actions aimed at improving the quality of life and working conditions of public employees by promoting their personal, professional, and career development through the integration and coordination of the Institutional Training Plan, the Workplace Well-being and Quality of Work Life Plan, and the Incentives Plan, thereby contributing to the success and sustainable growth of the University of Cauca.

The Integrated Workplace Well-being Management System applies to all personnel with permanent or temporary employment relationships with the University of Cauca who hold the status of Public Employees, including employees enrolled in the Administrative Career System, provisional public employees, freely appointed and removable employees, and public employees of the University of Cauca Health Unit.”

Vacancy Plan

Human Resource Planning Plan
The purpose of this Plan is to estimate the costs associated with the University’s global staffing structure and to allocate the budget required for its annual funding, ensuring alignment with the 2023–2027 Institutional Development Plan, particularly its Institutional Strengthening axis and its components on internal coordination and financial sustainability.
Specific Manual of Functions
Its purpose is to establish the functions and job competencies for the positions that make up the University of Cauca’s Global Administrative Staff, as well as the knowledge, experience, and other competencies required to perform them. The Manual serves as an essential tool for carrying out the processes of human resource planning, recruitment, retention, and professional development within the Institution.
Code of Integrity
Its purpose is to strengthen the organizational culture at the University of Cauca by adopting an accessible and up-to-date tool that promotes the practice of institutional values and the development of ethical and professional habits, with the aim of fostering trust in the work carried out by University public servants.
Guide to Administrative Employment Situations
The Guide to Administrative Employment Situations is a resource designed to provide context and guidance regarding the Human Resource Strategic Plan. Its primary purpose is to support strategic human resource management and the administration of public servants, as well as the implementation of policies that address the specific needs of the Institution.
