Knowledge and Training: training activities that have been carried out, including their descriptions and all materials developed throughout the training process

In order to comply with Superior Agreement 005 of 2023, specifically Article Seven, Paragraph II, Section 2.1, the Gender-Based Violence Committee participated in March of the current year in Bogotá at the National Meeting: Advances and Challenges Regarding Discrimination and Gender-Based Violence in Higher Education Institutions, organized by the Ministry of National Education and ASCUN. The event aimed to present the results of the MEN–ASCUN agreement, generate feedback on the evaluation reports of higher education institutions’ protocols, and provide technical assistance to participants on topics such as inclusive education, non-hegemonic and co-responsible masculinities, monitoring indicators, legal actions, and psychosocial strategies for the prevention of gender-based violence.

Outreach, awareness-raising, and prevention activities: descriptions and all materials developed for each process

Through the actions carried out by the Gender-Based and Sexual Violence Committee, activities were developed with each university sector, which made it possible, first and foremost, for the university community to recognize the existence of a tool designed to address and prevent all forms of violence that threaten the physical, emotional, and psychological integrity of its members. Likewise, these activities helped identify how prevention, response, and corrective actions are designed to ensure the comprehensive reparation of victims.

It is also important to note that the Committee, from 2023 through 2024, held meetings on a biweekly basis, achieving a total of 15 regular sessions during 2024. Beginning in 2025, the Committee started meeting weekly; therefore, as of April, 8 regular sessions had been held.
