The Vice-Rectorate for Research (VRI) of the University of Cauca is responsible for coordinating and implementing the Research, Development, and Innovation System, designed to promote research and encourage the creation and consolidation of research groups aligned with public policies on science and technology. We fulfill this purpose through research, technological development, and innovation activities, advanced education, and the promotion of initiatives that strengthen engagement with the broader community.

The Research System is organically integrated with the academic, administrative, financial, and culture and Wellness systems. We are an open-door vice research office, acting with transparency and solidarity toward the region.
