Process through which a student participates, either in person or virtually, in academic and scientific training activities in both undergraduate and graduate programs, for a specified period, at national and international institutions or organizations.

Academic mobility includes students, faculty, researchers, and administrative staff who take part in exchanges and participate in academic events at the undergraduate or graduate level, research stays and short courses, laboratory practices, and joint research.

It also enables students from other national or international universities to complete periods of study at a host university so that their periods of study can be recognized by their home university.
